Door handle 01 (sold in pairs)

Handle 01 consists of a flat, hammered iron arm, heated and bent, then assembled with a wide forged pommel. The hand naturally rests on it, activating the door’s opening mechanism. This handle type was observed in a traditional house in the village of Loutra (Tinos), Greece, near the Ursuline Monastery. Once widespread across Europe, from Mediterranean regions to alpine farms, it gradually disappeared over time. (Handle sold only as a pair)
