Furniture plate 01 for handle

Furniture plate 01 is a thin piece of hammered iron in the shape of a heart. More or less symmetrical and often naïve in its design, the heart frequently adorned the entrance doors of farmhouses, barns, and village homes. Carrying both symbolic and protective meaning, this universal motif reflected the emotional bond between the inhabitant and their dwelling. This plate comes in versions with a keyhole or with a central opening, allowing it to be paired with a furniture handle (pull or knob).
